Gearhead Engines

I would that everyone who checks the reviews concerning "Gearhead Engines" will read mine as well. I had the privilege of having Mr. Nick Reetz, help me through my engine purchase. To be honest: I was apprehensive, worried. Why? I think it was my first expensive purchase by internet but Nick handled me with patience, care, and very assuring that I had no need to worry and that my engine was on its way. Exactly, as Mr. Nick had assured me, the engine arrived the next day after purchase. Nick demonstrated great knowledge of his engines, and really convince me of not looking no where else for my engine but "Gearhead". To anyone who would feel as I did, no worries because…

It’s only been a week now, the Ford 3.5 engine has conventional oil in it. It’s running quieter than the OEM engine it replaced. After its break in period and first oil change. I’ve now driven it to the Grand Canyon and back to Austin,Tx. That’s over 2,200 miles in 4 days. This engine took on that highway and those mountains like a champ! 07-02-2025

Purchased a 5.4L Ford Engine and the install kit. Smooth easy transaction. Fast shipping and an easy core return policy. I would recommend Gearhead Engines if you are looking for quality motors at a decent price point.

I dealt with Tom Conley for my remanufactured 4.3 vortec. He absolutely a pleasure to deal with, and very knowledgeable. He actually helped me figure out more precisely what year motor I have. You can't always take the info from Google pertaining to date codes as etched in stone. It took 3 days to get here, and now the fun begins. Thank you Tom, your help was definitely appreciated!

Gearhead Engines, took really good care of me my concerns and questions answer right on the 1st phone call within minutes, Thomas Conley is the right person to ask for an has an extensive knowledge and great customer service, will recommend to all my friends, engine runs smoothly so far and hope stay running like this for several years to come, will continue adding to this review as the engine evolves in the brake in process, thank you so much for everything Thomas.
